The main television unit 20 comprises an antenna 21 for receiving TV broadcasting waves, a tuner 22, a demodulator circuit 23, an image display circuit 24, an OSD circuit 25, a video display 26, an audio output circuit 27, a loudspeaker 28, a physical fitness remote control signal receiver 29, a body fat calculator 30, a memory 31, a data storage 32, a physical fitness graph generator 33, a microcomputer 34, and a power source (power supply physical fitness in the television receiver) 35 for supplying each of the above units with powers. In the main television unit 20, the tuner 22 is controlled by the microcomputer 34 to tune the frequency of a desired channel of the TV broadcasting service for receiving a high-frequency TV signal at the channel with the antenna 21.
