Always do your skin fold tests on the injury right side of your body. 2. Conduct the test directly on your body and not with clothes in the way. 3. While standing you must first find the 4 locations which you need to test (below). 4. Firmly pinch the skin fold between your left index finger and your thumb. 5. Pull the skin fold and underlying fat away from your body. 6. Using injury the calipers in your right hand, pinch the skin fold about a ¼ of an inch away from your thumb and finger. 7. Test injury the same spot 3 times. If you get the same reading each time then you are doing it properly, if your readings are slightly different, take the average of all 3, and if they are really different, then practice until you're numbers are close together.
