| Of course she weighted in with both on the exact same date, however the results were so dfferent that she was puzzled. Briedly , with the North American version, she showed as having less fat than she had with the body for life Japanese version. Since she wondered why, she asked the people at Tanita about it. Tanita's response was that since Western people and the Japanese have different body structures, especially in regards to bone and muscle density ( the Japanese have body for life less of course), the sclaes are seto to a different body for life reference value. Of course it is okay, the points is if I weight myself on the North American scale I would soon be dissatisfired with the lack of restults. And you do not need to to worry about that " high fat" result on the Japanese Tanita.
